GREAT appointment

Today's appointment was SO much fun. We started with a tech doing an ultrasound, measuring it seemed like every bone in each of their little bodies! I cannot believe how much they look like babies now. I mean I know they were always babies, but they actually LOOK like babies now!J
To make this kind of short everything she looked at she said was normal (you know I asked) and they were about the same size in every way! One is 8 oz and one is 9 oz. One has a heartbeat of 154 and one 153.
Dr. Barsoom was wonderful, seemed very down to earth and at the same time on top of things, and proactive. I like that. Someone else to do some of the worrying for me!
I’ve never had a male doctor for anything OB, but it didn’t bother me at all. I feel much better about the whole process now, than I did last week anyway. He also had my quad screen test results-and they are normal. He checked my cervix and it also in the normal range. Our prayers have been answered so many times overJ

The most anticipated part actually I didn’t mean for it to happen…I told the tech we had to wait until the next visit for my husband to be there to find out the sexes, but I knew she knew….when the Dr. came in he called them by their true sexes! I have to keep it a secret until I tell Brian, and I am going to tell him tonight, so stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a bunch of pictures that hopefully I can get someone at work to scan in for me and I’ll post them as soon as I can!
I wanted to add....you may have noticed I'm now 18 weeks, and yesterday it said 17. Well the ultrasound showed that the "gestational age" is 18 weeks and one day, which makes sense, because the very first ultrasound I had back in January was a week ahead too. SO like magic I'm a week further than we thought-YAY!
