sick sick sick

I got home from work on Monday and immediately could tell Klaire was not herself. Her cheeks were bright pink...she was wheezy, breathing kinda fast and she was super crabby:( I took her temp at it was 101. Yikes, they've been sick before, but not had a high temp yet. So I call the doctors after hours line. The lady had me count her breaths and they were about 55 per minute-kinda fast. Anyway she said to be safe and bring her in to Children's. Brian thought I was being a bit of a hypochondriac but i didn't care!
After 3 hours in the ER it's just a virus.
I was up most of the night with on her, doing Tylenol every 4 hours and she still had a temp of 101. The worst part is she wants to be held constantly. Kinda hard with 2 babies! Poor Grace has had to "fend for herself" the last couple days.

The next few days Grace of course got the same virus, but she always gets it worse in her chest (just like daddy) so they are both on breathing treatments every 4 hours....and antibiotics for ear infections, and lots and lots of tylenol. Grace definately tolerates the fevers better than Klaire, but she also doesn't get them as high. Kaire's have been up to 103 for a time...

We don't have any pictures from our first Thanksgiving because it was awful:( I learned my lesson not to bring them anywhere when they are sick. They were miserable and in turn so was I. Lesson learned. Christmas WILL be better.
