one more month

Klaire had her 3 month helmet appointment today. She did really well, didn't cry at all even with all the measuring, she's used to it I'm guessing. We have to do one more month. I figured it was coming, and I'm actually kind of relieved because I think if she got it off now I'd be worried her head will flatten again. She's had excellent growth, 12 mm in the back and only 1 mm side to side (which is what we were trying to stop) So overall it worked! He brought out the mold of her head they used to make the helmet in the first place, and I was stunned! Doesn't even look like the same head!:)
She gets to have LOTS of breaks this last month, he even said basically have it on when sleeping and other than that when it's convenient. So I'm happy about that. We see the doctor again in a month (not the helmet lab guy John) so it will be interesting to see what he says about her progress.
The girls were eating their oatmeal and fruit with Aunt Laura when I left for work after the appt. They looked so grown up...I guess I have to realized they are more grown up! They are starting to "rock" when on their tummys. Yikes! I think crawling in our near future!
