goodnight kiss

The sweetest thing happened tonight.

I was putting Grace to bed (she always decides she's done with her bottle before Klaire, and it works out so I can carry each one in and have a couple minutes rocking individually) Anyway I was just holding her telling her it's time to go night night, mommy and daddy love you, all that:) and she turns and looks right at me and leans in for a big 'ol open mouth drooly smooch. It was absolutely adorable, and on purpose without prodding. She wanted to kiss me! She did it a couple more times, probably because of the reaction she got:)-then off to bed (we HOPE all night)! Totally made my night. What a sweetie.

Ok, I feel weird not posting a thing about Miss Klaire. She's an absolute dollie too:) Actually, she loves to kiss her toys: her beloved ladybug, care bears, even her scooter. Ha. Tonight, however, was not one of her sweetest nights. She decided she did NOT want to take a bath with Grace (who is admittedly a bath hog who thinks she's a fish...a wild fish). She wanted her OWN bath and nothing was going to do except that! I didn't give in -she can't win them all!- so it was a short one to say the least complete with a screaming fit.
