Our pediatrician always tells me to trust my instincts...and I should have sooner. I just knew the girls had ear infections...but I'm also sort of known as the family hypochondriac, and I don't want to be running them to the Dr. every time the get a cold so I delayed in taking them in, but Klaire has been refusing bottles (never happens) and Grace has slept only one night through this whole week. So I took them in today after work. Turns out Grace has a double and Klaire's right ear. The had to irrigate hers with a water pic to see. Holy cow-not fun with this child! 20 minutes of screaming later we are off to Target Pharmacy (nutsville) to get some meds-bubble gum flavor-fun huh? What a day, I'm ready to be off work for a long weekend!!!!!
They seem to be feeling better today actually-the worst is probably over, I only wish I had listened to myself and taken them in sooner. Next time.
We are off to Des Moines tomorrow for our sweet nephew Gabe's 2nd Birthday! He thinks he's going to be 3, but let not rush it okay, Gabe???:) The girls have some fun Husker outfits to wear for the game too!--if course I'll post pics when we get back Sunday sometime.
I hope everyone has a nice relaxing Labor Day, the weathers supposed to be great! Yay!
