Colorado!

Brian and I booked our "trip" AKA long weekend to Colorado tonight! So excited! The last time we were there was when we got ENGAGED 6 YEARS ago. Crazy long time ago when you stop and think about it. We need a getaway, can't really afford the time off work and I don't want to leave my girls (even though they will be in great hands) but we need to get away just us, for a couple days. I found a coupon online to where we always stay www.nickysresort.com "book two nights, 3rd one is free" So what a deal! Prices have gone up in the last 6 years:) We're going October 17-20th.

That's about all that's going on here. The girls are feeling MUCH better, the ear infections are truly gone finally and they have been really fun the last few nights. Giggling, babbling, running, "reading" machines. It really is amazing all they can do. Klaire has been saying "thank you" it comes out more like "dat doo" when she give you something. A little backwards, but she's catching on to the concept. She gives and takes over and over- Grace likes the give part-not so much the take back part. Grace was balancing on her infamous scooter today. Standing up on the seat, a bit like a pamel horse. What a wild child:)

We are going to the zoo on Saturday with the Wilson's- I can't wait! The weather is perfect as far as I'm concerned, and it will be fun to watch Gabe and the girls with all the animals! I just hope they realize they have to stay in their stroller...could be interesting:) I promise I'll post pictures. Speaking of-I've been drooling over a new camera. I think we are outgrowing our point and shoot....anyone have $500 to spare???? ha.
