giggling more, tantruming less

After this post, you all may think I've lost my mind...and that's quite possible, BUT I swear I have seen an improvement in the girls all around moods, demeanor, etc. not to mention their speech and I think hearing. We even survived a virus-the same week as the tube surgery WITHOUT a doctor visit/antibiotics! Grace now repeats pretty much everything we say and has come up with words she has never even attempted, orange for example! The biggest change however, is Miss Klaire. She really seems to be happier! She's giggling more, tantruming less, ALOT less whining, and hasn't even attempted to bite Grace once! THey are both singing to themselves and speaking more clearly than ever before. It really is amazing, Rick said he also noticed after a couple days of not being around them, that they are happier kiddos now. THANK GOD FOR TUBES. I hope this isn't a coincidence, but I can't help but think that constant fluid feeling (that I have right now and it is driving me MAD) was causing them to be more irritable than a normal almost 2 year old. Who knows, I could be crazy--but either way or for whatever reason, I'll take it!
Oh, and I bought some kid size silicone earplugs for baths at good 'ol Target. Worked like a charm! Klaire thought they were pretty cool, Grace wasn't in love with them but kept them in nonetheless the whole bath! Whew!
