it's like they know.

My girls are really cool little people.  I don't give them enough credit for how much they catch on to, sense, and understand.   I should elaborate that it's transitions times when they are at their absolute worst,  especially people coming and going that makes them instantly whine, cry, fight, want to be held simultaneously, etc etc.  I try to keep them busy, and engaged but sometimes, nothing works.  I always dread the first hour or so I'm home, by myself, trying to cook dinner and having two kids stuck to my legs usually screaming and whining.  Well last night they were good, just good. We played, giggled, I got lots of hugs, and played some more!  We cooked dinner, they ate great, had a FUN bath which is a situation that's for another post regarding Miss Klaire, and went to bed on time and with no tears.  Not sure why, I didn't do anything different, they were simply in a good mood. They did have a nap Rick said so that always helps, but honestly it's like they knew mommy needed a break...to put it mildly!

The last few nights Klaire has been up she's crying and saying "owie" about her mouth.  She is getting those last molars in the back, so last night I did give her some Motrin right before bed and lo and behold, she (and Grace) slept all night.  I'm not saying I'm going to medicate the child every night, but it does make this detective mamma wonder if this is the root of the problem. This parenting thing is a lot like solving mysteries. For the record, I never liked the game Clue.

So we push on. Thank you for all your comments and e-mails. I most certainly appreciate it.   I have ALOT of support. I'm very lucky to have the people in my life that I do, that are concerned for me when I seem to be crashing and burning.  I'm OK. Just overwhelmed, but it will be ok!!!
