Thursday night we dyed eggs, really it was managed chaos trying to keep the girls from spilling dye all over the kitchen, but it was cute, and they loved feeling in control of such a big project:)

Then Saturday was our sweet nephew Wyatt's first birthday party. Jeff and Nikki really outdid themselves with an Easter egg hunt themed party complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny himself!!!!! The girls didn't want to get too close, even with me:) Wyatt is a little charmer and we just love him to pieces.

We left the girls at the party with the Wilson's (they stayed over night and slept mostly all night! YAY!) and went to a wedding of a college friend of mine's. It was a GREAT time and so fun to see friends from college that we hardly get to hang out with anymore. Even though every time we do see each other we say "We need to do this MORE often!" Brian showed off a few of his old moves and we danced the night away. Fabulously fun times, a couple in love, and a beautiful PINK wedding:)
Easter Sunday we headed to Wayne to the farm. The girls got to hunt eggs again, but without the other kids there, and no "thrill of the chase" they were quite content to find a couple and eat the contents instead of actually run around and hunt them!

The girls saw this BIG open field...and as a joke we said "go run to those trees down there!"...and...they tried!:)

and had to be rescued...
The weather was beautiful, surrounded by family and friends, despite a few meltdowns in the car and the normal stress that I bring on myself during holidays we had a lovely Easter weekend.
We are
