it's not her, it's me

Yesterday I came home from work and Klaire was in undies (oh yes she's still not potty trained, have I done a good job of hiding that fact on here? well it's time to come clean). The new Jessie ones we got because she HAD to have them at the last trip to Target.  Rick said she wanted to wear them, so he let her (he makes it sound so simple doesn't he?)  She had no accidents and went on the potty twice.  Great!!! Progress!  Lately I can't even get her to go near the thing, and changing her is a major battle.   It is CLEAR that she needs to be trained.

I tried to continue the progress, but much to my dismay when I enter the equation, it equals no potty progress time. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Grace is majorly naughty when I'm trying to devote attention to Klaire and insists SHE has to go, RIGHT then, on THAT potty.  Anyway, she did get on it which was good, but nothing happened and she quickly got frustrated...I swear I did not!   I kept it positive, really!  She did fine all evening (held it) until after dinner when for one second I wasn't paying attention and she disappeared to the playroom.  Well all know what happened there.  Damn.  I'm not saying accidents are a big deal, but I am saying I'd love to see any progress while I'm  home.  Blah.  Today they went to daycare so she had to wear a pullup.  I need to take a week off and stay home with her, maybe that'd help-or maybe not since I'm obviously not the best potty trainer.   I'm beyond frustrated, but trying my darndness not to show it. Really.

Hey Erica if Grace is always pushing in maybe she could stay at Vickie's on Sat. and you could just work with Klaire. you probably already thought of that! Or maybe reward Grace for letting Klaire get on the pot. I wish I had some wonderful advice or a book to mail you but I don't! I am rooting for you though!
