Had to have it!

 

I ordered this cute book from Amazon when I was searching for patches....you'd think somewhere in Omaha would sell them...but nope, not so much!  Even Dr. Troia's office has them "on order."   Anyway, the book is about a little girl who wears a patch and goes to school telling all her friends lots of silly stories about why she wears one. It's cute, maybe a little over Grace's head, but she loved the picture on the front and asked to read it three times last night.

We finally got some of the patches I ordered in the mail yesterday. Thank goodness! She likes these colorful ones much better than the "boring" ones, and whatever helps her stay happy with this, we'll do!  They aren't that much more money:)

Her first morning of daycare with it on was today.  She did pretty well, was a bit quiet, and held the baggie of patches and directions to staff that I wrote out, instead of putting it in her cubbie.  I think she'll do just fine, although kids will probably ask, at this age they are still pretty accepting. We'll see!!!
