lunching ladies

I'm always amazed at the things in life that I sometimes dread, end up being my favorite activities.  Let me explain.  This preschool thing has an odd time schedule, we have lots of help from Grandpas and our lovely flexible daycare that I can't say enough good things about.  When we were in the planning process, the only way it would work out was for me to use my lunch hour to take the girls from daycare to school twice a week.  I was dreading it. Isn't that terrible!?  I was fully expect it to be a fight, a hard transition, whining and crying and "mom please don't leave me's!"   Much to my surprise, this has turned into my favorite time of the week.  I LOVE seeing my girls halfway through the day, I love watching them kiss and hug their daycare friends goodbye (it's so dramatic, you wouldn't believe it), and I love witnessing their excitement to go to preschool.  It's a perfect break in my day and I'd actually do it every day if I could!:)  Now, talk to me in the dead of winter traipsing through snow and the whole coat thing-may be a different story-but for now, I'm enjoining every minute of my lunch with my little ladies.
