Summer fun!

I had a couple days off work that I didn't want to waste cleaning the playroom (which is really futile is it not!?) so the girls and I got outta the house and tried to stay out of the heat.  I'm too chicken to take them swimming by myself so we went to the Mall. :)
They thought they were pretty cool spending the day with mom, shopping, and eating in the food court.  We even bought some new undies for PRESCHOOL.
They found this Boat in Dicks Sporting Goods and it kept them entertained for at least 20 minutes.

We have been meaning to take them to the Children's Museum for some time, but it just never happened. We went on Friday and it was packed. I think it probably usually is?   They LOVED it.  At first they were a bit overwhelmed as we did the "ball room" first and there were lots of big kids running and being a little rowdy, but after a couple minutes they got right in there and thought it was really "cool" (that's Klaire's new word she uses to describe everything).

Next we went up to the dinosaur exhibit which was neat, but they like the playground in the middle of it better than the actual dinosaurs...

Took a spin on the carousal (and did NOT want me to ride along).

Then was their favorite part, the mini grocery store.  Both girlies did a good job waiting patiently for a cart, I was proud:) They looked like two little ol ladies.

We did a few more random activities, that place is nuts, I think you could easily keep kiddos entertained for a whole day!!!

It was a little difficult to get them to leave, but again tempted with lunch out, always helps:)

We went to see Grandma at her office and wasted some supplies.

Then we went home and cleaned the playroom collapsed.

I have to add this short video (just sound).  They've been watching Annie...and although I think it might be a little old for them and I do some explaining that Miss Hanegan drinks ALOT of water, they do love the singing and dancing.
