girls weekend

Those two words bring dread to our hubby's (just because they will miss us SO badly-not all the money spent and alone time with the kiddos) and send us into thrill mode.  The girl's weekend with my sister in laws that we try to do every year got skipped last year, so come hell or high water, or having to kidnap them it was going to work this year.  And boy did it.  We went back to MN, mostly for IKEA and it's on the way to swing by and pick up Nik.  We had an awesome time. We always do! There's some kind of understanding between the three of us and we balance each other out.  Maybe it's because we are married to brothers and Laura had to deal with those brothers all her life...whatever it is, it works. I treasure their friendship, understanding, patience, LAUGHS, quirks, (Laura, did you find that book??:) and all.
