There wasn't much hooplah or planning this Fathers Day...sorry dear. We attempted to get some things done around the house that get neglected throughout the week. Brian's hours got unexpectedly changed at work with less than a days notice so that has been a huge bummer for us. He's back to that wacky sort of night shift leaving the house at 1AM and making him a total tired zombie by Friday. It makes all of us worry about him driving that hour to IA. Not the best timing for this, BUT he has a job, and we are grateful for that! Anyway, Fathers Day. We met up with Rick, Nancy, Allen and Jackson at a new splash pad in Papillion. They all love them and get "braver" every time about getting water dumped on them. I love these things because I don't have to worry about anybody drowning! :) The kiddos had a great time and Daddy got to relax.
Speaking of water, the girls start swimming lessons this Saturday. They have been begging to go, so we are trying just a little half hour class at the Y. We'll see how they do. I actually haven't told them yet that they are starting this Sat...I better. Sometimes Grace needs a little time to process such things:)
I finally purchased a project dresser for the baby's room, that I'll use for a changing table too. I just missed out on about 5 dressers before this one on Craigslist so was glad to actually get to buy one! Competitive market I guess! It needs some work but it has good bones and clean lines. I'll have to paint post baby, but I'm thinking it look great just plain white. Maybe when we know the gender I will get braver. We'll see!

I like the looks of that dresser - it's not bad the way it is! Score!
