20 weeks!

I had my 20 week appt a bit early last Thursday.  It was HOT and I was all swollen and uncomfortable, so hope that explains the 8 pound weight gain in one month!  Yikes.  The baby looks perfect, and all the parts are in the right place and functioning correctly.  The parts you're all wondering about will remain a mystery.  The tech knows but no one else in the room even got a glimpse!  She didn't even tell my doctor because apparently she's been known to slip up and tell accidentally!  We don't want any of that!  The babe had hiccups, did some gymnastics and even blew a bubble.  It also gave us a big 'ol #1 with the tiny hand! Quite the entertainer already.
So far so good. All is well in cervix land (measuring at 5 cm for those of you that can relate!), and this is proving to be an uneventful pregnancy so far. I WILL TAKE IT and am knocking on wood as I type. Talented aren't I?

Here is the belly at 20 weeks! Em chopped of my hair at my request and it feels wonderful. All that blowdrying in this heat, and my hormones were not a great combo.  I can't complain about how I'm feeling.  Slowing down a bit that's for sure, some major heartburn no matter what I eat, and my feet are swelling by the end of the day, but other than that-feeling great!
I asked Brian to take a picture of me at 20 weeks, so we get out there and he says...."So you just want your face?" That man! :)  He got a couple cute shots. I'm trying to take them when I'm not in sweats and all completely nasty looking. The belly shots of the girls were not too cute. I definitely don't look as big as I feel!
