I haven't been posting much about day to day life with Mr Henry Parker...mostly because I have no time to do so. He is by far much more fussy/high maintenance than the TWO girls ever were! It's totally amazing to me. I guess I lucked out because if I had two of him, I'd be in trouble:) He still eats every two hours, which I've gotten used to, but it's the in between where we are having a little trouble. He used to eat and be happy for at least a half hour, then sleep till the next feeding. Well yesterday we got about 2 minutes of the milk coma happiness and it was back to wanting to be held, but still fussing and crying the whole time. Yikes! I don't think it sounds like a colic cry (?), and he can't be hungry 10 minutes after eating. I'm hoping he just had a bad day. And I know, this too shall pass. I remember the girls seeming "bored" when they really can't do anything yet, but are getting too old to be content just sitting there. We try the activity mat, swing, etc, to no avail.
Anyway, lets get to the best part! So after yesterday I thought, oh my what is this night going to bring!? I'm a bit of a pessimist and add in little sleep and I'm a bit of a downer. The little guy slept for 5 hours. 5 HOURS STRAIGHT. This is an early Christmas miracle.
So he's unpredictable. He's also the cutest baby boy I've ever seen (which I tell him every day he's lucky!), I think we'll keep him:)

So awesome about the 5 hours of sleep!! What a nice xmas present!! And with the fussiness, it almost sounds like he is getting so much milk, that he might have a tummy ache after he eats and that is what is making him unhappy. Just a thought. I know that happens with babies at work too.

Just a thought. I don't think I would be worried about your supply :). It sounds like he is getting lots of it and looks like it too with those chunky legs.
