5 months!

Our guy is 5 months...hard to believe, he's so close to that 6 month mark that means he's practically all grown up!  Henry is thriving, he's a happy sweet, giggly, chunky babe.  He loves to eat his cereal at night, and we added some veggies a couple weeks ago that he's eating like a champ also. His favorite are peas, much to his daddy's dismay. I think we'll start some fruit and oatmeal for breakfast soon. I had him in to the doctor for his second ear infection almost 2 weeks ago and he weighed 17 pounds. That said, nursing is going well!  Knock on wood we've really had no problems, and I am SO thankful for that. At daycare he's still eating 4 ounces at a time, some days they say he chows it down in minutes, and others he eats 2 ounces at a time and snacks. I guess it's up to him!

He still has not rolled over from back to front (came verrry close one day but could not quite get that arm out of the way).... and now that I think of it only did front to back that one day, and not since.  He's content to lay and kick like crazy, and loves to be sat/propped up in the boppy like a big boy.  His gums/teeth are really bugging him and his drooling is out of control some days.  He can go through 3 bibs in an hour when he's really chewing on something.  Reminds me a lot of Klaire and all the trouble she had. Lovely.  A friend of mine said she put big raw carrots in the fridge and let her kiddos chew on them. (thanks for the tip Harmony, I'm going to try it soon!)  I'm thinking it's a bit early for actual teeth so we will just have to deal with the crankiness for awhile.  Poor little guy, teething is no fair!
