I figured I better do a 10 month update before it's too late! I made their year shot appt today! WOW!
The girls amaze me every day. They are so smart! Babies in general...I'm not saying mine are genius's by any means...just regular kids...but they are truly amazing! I think it's so cool how they know exactly what they want (and don't want) and usually know just how to get it! They are eating a bunch of new foods now. This last couple weeks we added cheerios, pasta, some hamburger, mac n cheese, goulash, etc!

Miss Grace. She had her first, first! She was first to pull herself up! She's always been a little stronger than Klaire-usually wins tug of wars- so I thought she might pull up first. And she did. Now she's up as much as she can be, on anything and everything. I give it a couple days and I think she'll be "creeping." Her favorite words are still dadada and babababa. I swear the other day she said ball though....and Charlotte at daycare said she thinks she said "done" who knows, probably not but it's still cute:) She repeat alot of facial expressions. I thought she as making them up then I realized she's making an "O" face because I do that to them alot...she'll stick her tongue out if you do it too....and now she's on to a really stern mad looking face that looks like she's upset-but really just mimicking my eyebrow thing i don't know I'm doing! She still has no teeth, but just tonight I gave her Tylenol because she was really in pain with them...and like I've been saying since March "any day now!"

Miss Klaire. Oh my. If anyone knows a good book about the "strong-willed child" could you send me the name? She's just that! If Klaire doesn't want to do something-watch out, it's going
to be an all out fit! Gets kinda difficult when you want to do silly things like change her diaper:) She has such a sweet cuddly side though too. Lately she's been putting her finger in her mouth and grinning with her head tiled to the side...like see how cute I am???? She does that alot just for Grandpa Rick. Klaire likes when you pat her mouth while she's holding a "note" it gets louder and louder until she decides that was annoying then looks at you like-geez could ya stop that?? It's hilarious. She still has just the 2 Easter teeth, which she has figured out are very useful in a fight with Grace. Is it to early to teach "no-you cannot bite!???"Her favorite "word" is still bobobobob. I've convinced myself that I, am in fact, Bob. She can pull herself up on low things, not quite the couch yet--but again I give it a couple days and she'll have it down.
The best part of the last couple months is how much they interact with each other! I used to be thrilled when they'll catch each others eye and smile. Now they have "games" they play with each other!! The first one is when I'm down on the floor with them and Klaire sees Grace is across the room, she'll yell to get her attention and I'll say "Klaire she's gonna get you!!" Grace crawls really fast towards Klaire and she jumps into my arms both of them squealing! So fun! The other one they do alot is crawl towards each other at full speed and headbutt each other. They giggle and giggle and fall to the floor. Looks like it'd hurt to me, but they love it! They also both stand in their cribs and talk to each other especially in the morning when they get up. It's so cute to sneak a peak when they don't know anyone is there. I really think they already have a special bond. I can't wait to see what other fun stuff they'll come up with as they get older!
So that's the short version of the last couple months. Most of the time I feel like a referee/cook. I'm really in denial that they are almost a year old. I keep telling myself that I still have 2 months...but It's going to fly. This year flew. Now I know why people keep having babies:) ha.
