Kayelyn's pants

Grace assured me this morning that the new pants I got them at Children's Place for $1.99 were in fact "Kayelyn's pants!" She is one of their friends at daycare that they talk about all. the. time.  No silly Grace, mommy bought these for you and Klaire.  She looked at me like I was a little looney but believed me, maybe...and under her breathe said "Kayelyn's are blue."

Ok Rosie, whatever you say...two year olds can come up with some tales I've learned over the last 6 months or so....so I let it go.  Who cares if she thinks she's wearing someone else's pants right? We pick our battles in the morning.

Fast forward to daycare drop off,  Shannon (staff) says," Oh, you girls look cute today, and Kayelyn has those pants!" (they are quite loud and memorable, hence the $1.99)...but....you guessed it, "IN BLUE".

That Grace, she knows her stuff.
