staycation

staycation (noun): a period of time in which an individual or family stays at home and relaxes at home or takes day trips from their home to area attractions.

We need a getaway.  We thought about going down to KC to that new waterpark with the crazy name....has anyone checked out how much that thing costs? $100 for 4 people. Seriously?   Once the girlies are older and we know they will be utilizing all that the water mecca has to offer, count us in.  Same problem with The Wolf Lodge place.   But as of now they like to jump off the edge of a pool to mommy and daddy. They we thought maybe that Coco Key but after a facebook survey that quickly got vetoed. Also, our girls have never stayed in a hotel so just in case we need to get home to get some sleep I'd like to be close.  I know, we need to get out more. So we're starting off slow....

...and traveling down Dodge street! That's right a few blocks down the street we go!  The hotel has a humongous pool and we're going to tell them they are on vacation:)  We plan on going out for a nice dinner and relaxing.  

I know, lets not get crazy.
