fun fun fun!

We had a fun time on our little staycation. We couldn't check into the hotel until 3 so we just hung out for a bit in the room until going out to dinner.  That alone is a treat for the girls as we don't do it very often!  By the way if you've never tried the fried green beans at TGIFridays. Do it. Trust me, I know it sounds strange. But seriously wonderful!!!! Anyway, they ate great and after that we went to the "big pool" as they called it.  This pool was wonderful for what we were up to!  It had a pretty good sized 2 foot area which I think is pretty hard to find, also opened up to the outside to let natural light in and that's always a plus! It even had a little hot tub. Score!  They had a great time "Swimming" which consists of jumping in off the side to us, twirling, and walking back and forth a million times. It wore them out!  When we got back to the room Grace was a little leery about staying there. She actually cried for a good 15 minutes saying she wanted to GO HOME!  I finally told her the hotel workers were going to come tell her to be quiet if she didn't stop it (probably true) and she calmed down.  Klaire was cool as a cucumber about the whole thing:) We shared a piece of cheesecake in bed and they actually did go to sleep pretty well.   The rest of the night Grace woke up a million times and it was musical double beds so none of us got much sleep, but overall it was a success. They have officially stayed in a hotel and if we ever go on a real vacation I think we'll be just fine!  We went swimming the next day for a bit and it was near impossible to get them to leave.  Little fishies!
