Santa

Personally I'm not into the screaming kids with Santa pictures.  The girls have enough "fear" of strangers that I never thought it a gret idea to push the sitting on the lap of man in the red suit tradition, especially when they couldn't really grasp the concept of Santa yet.  Today while running some errands, I casually asked if they'd like to go tell Santa what they'd like for Christmas. YES!! Came two very enthusiastic little voices from the back seat.  Ok! Lets give it a whirl!

I love it. It's so them at this age.  We were not dressed for the occasion one bit and even got a couple looks from the lady behind me that had all of her 5 kids dressed to the nines in the Gymboree Holiday Collection. Oh well, they didn't scream, or hang on my leg. They walked right up to him and sort of shouted at him that they like a Teddy, Klaire, and Doll, Grace.   No smiles for the picture, but they were not traumatized and tickled pink afterwards that they got to talk to SANTA!!!
