Field Trip whoas

The girls had a field trip to some Gardens planned on one of their bonus first Wednesdays of the month preschool mornings (I know I can't keep it straight either). Grace decided last week that she DID NOT want to go on the field trip, she doesn't like to ride in the van, or change of any kind really.  Klaire was all for it, so since it was a bonus day and just a field trip I let Grace decide NOT to go and Klaire to go.  Grace was well aware that she'd have to go to daycare in the morning by herself and Klaire would meet her there later.  She was fine with it. Can you see where I'm going with this? Till last night!  She got all dramatic and sad and of course changed her mind that she DID in fact want to go.  Nope sorry kiddo, if there is one thing I try to do as a parent is stick to decisions.  And this was her decision, even more important!  Long story short this morning was a bit dramatic and she clung to my leg and cried at daycare this morning.  Klaire on the other hand cried when I picked her up from preschool because she had to go to daycare.  I cannot win!  The reason I'm telling this long drawn out story is because when I picked Klaire up and asked her how the field trip was she said "Dumb!" Why? "There was no bounce-house!" (like the last field trip) Oh my.
