25 weeks and some change

Some good change!!!! My cervix...which I've affectionately renamed "ol Vix" is back up to 4.8 cm!  Basically as long and closed as it can be! Yahoo!! I was sort of holding my breath this time as I was scared it was going to continue it's downwards spiral.  So great news...Vix holding strong and the tech said it's nowhere near needing to use the stitch, my little insurance policy, at this point.

The rest of the appt was same old, but at the same time never gets old to hear the heartbeat, and babe kicking.  We still can't quite tell whether it's head down or not, last time it was sideways.  Doc reminded me that my uterus is all stretched out from last time so baby still has plenty of room to roam around.  I asked about the contractions I have and as long as there are no more than 5 in on hour, she's not worried.  I don't think I usually have that many, but I guess I'll count better to make sure. They obviously aren't causing any change at this point, so I'll try to ignore those.  I have gained 20 pounds. Eek. Brian said no more Zio's. I told him I'll take that as long as I can still have my ice cream. Speaking of I have the glucose test next time (in 2 weeks). Yuck, and wish me luck!
