We waited until the one weekend in the entire summer that it wasn't 107 degrees to finally take the girlies to a water park. We were delighted to find it only cost us $2.50 for our whole fam (thanks anonymous donor that paid for the city pools to stay open!). Also, we didn't realize the kids had to be 6 in order to go down the big slides. Oops! Despite all that they had a blast just swimming around and doing a smaller slide. I even braved a swimsuit in public...anything for my girls! We stayed for a good 3 hours, well worth our moolah. Afterwards, all starving, we went to good ol Vals. Yum!
Tomorrow we have back to school night. Supplies are all labeled and ready to go....we will hope our soon to be kindergartners are too!
