28 weeks/THIRD trimester!

Last week I had my appt to check on Vix and have the gestational diabetes test. Can you guess which one failed? Well I guess I'm lucky it was the latter because I'm still up and rolling.  Vix is holding strong at 4.8 (woo hoooooo) but I failed my glucose test. The means I had to endure the 3 hour test up at the hospital, I wanted to get it overwith so I did that on Friday morning. It was SO surreal to be hanging out up at the hospital. I wandered around the maternity ward (the part that's not under lockdown!) and heard the lullaby they play for babies being born 6 times!!!! It made me very excited for one of those to be mine in a few months...well 3 months I guess. Yikes! I'm calling in this afternoon for my results and will update with a big ol picture of me at 28 weeks later too! Wish me luck!

update...
Just called and the results won't be in until tomorrow (Tuesday). I hate when they tell you one thing, then do another. Oh well, one more day of eating ice cream and not feeling bad about it:)

update on the update...
...You guys, it was the weirdest thing. Last night I was just sitting down to eat possibly my last bowl of guilt free/non counted sugar content ice cream and my phone rings.  It was about 8:45PM. It was the nurse from my doctors office!  She said "Dr. N. wanted you to know that your 3 hour glucose test came back normal." I was so shocked and ecstatic that I started rambling about how I failed the first one the last time I was pregnant, blah blah, and how I was just about to eat some ice cream, blah blah...which is what I do, and she just goes...oh ok, well congratulations (?) and have a good night. I think I scared her. ha! Oh well. I'm thrilled. Not to have free reign to eat terribly, trust me I'm watching it as I've already probably gained the allotted pounds for the whole darn pregnancy by now.  But because it's one less thing to worry about! YAY!

This was this morning....I think it gets bigger and lower throughout the day.
