nutso weekend

On Friday Target called that Grace's glasses were ready. I waited until after dinner to tell her or she never would have eaten:)  We buzzed over there and she was SO excited! The girl was really sweet, told her some "rules" and adjusted them to to not slide down her nonexistent nose. The best part was she got to pick a case. Neon yellow for the record. So far so good. She's complained a little about her ears being sore, but overall she has left them on and cleans them like my dad showed her how to at least 3 times a day! 

The rest of the weekend we went to the Boystown Carnival which equated to standing in a million lines for a couple trips in a bounce house. Not so great....so we took all the kids to BK with a playland and they were pleased as punch! Brian and I even got a date night out on Saturday!

I had two photo sessions on Sunday so it worked out great that the girls "cashed in" their birthday pedicure with the Aunts.  They had so much fun and were spoiled rotten.  Pizza, waffles, Dr Pepper and take home cheesecake to boot! After they shared the cheesecake with me last nght Grace said "oops! we promised Laura and Nikki we'd clean out room before we ate this...but we ran out of time!" Goofball has an excuse for everything.  They are so lucky to have cool aunts to take them to do fun things.:)

Brian stayed home with Henry most of the weekend, poor kiddo just can't shake this cough. It's less croupy but still has a bark to it when he wakes up. He took lots of naps and took it easy this weekend while the rest of us ran around like crazy people:)  Smart baby.
