Spring!?

It's been quite awhile since I've blogged regularly.  No excuse really except being busy at work, home, and life in general.  This will be no good for my 2014 book though. Sorry kids. You've had lots of fun this year so far!

The girls are wrapping up the school year and planning their version of summer.  It includes lots of pool/cousin/tv time so it should be interesting to see how we can balance that with reality. I'm sure we'll fit some fun in. We've got a surprise planned for them already the entire week of their birthday!  Spring soccer starts this week, luckily I don't think there will be any snow on the ground. They lucked out and got the same coach as last year so "Glitterbugs" are reunited!  They loved this coach and so did Brian and I, they are a super nice family.  It should be another great experience.  They've been practicing and Brian has been working on building some intensity with Klaire. We'll see how she does. We had to buy them both some new shoes as they've had a huge growth spurt.  Klaire's legs are going to be longer than mine in about a year. Not hard to do since I'm short, but still crazy.

Henry is growing, growing, growing. Not so much up, but older:) He's a dancing fool, loves goldfish crackers by the handful, has 7 teeth, tests out new words and sounds daily, and is just a dear boy.

I found a new paint to play around with so that has reignited my love for refinishing old furniture. Brian is SO thrilled. I have to have a side project going or life seems so dull. That's probably not very nice to say, but true.  I started with a small table from Goodwill, then redid Henry's dresser. SO far the results have been great. I love thrifting...and sorry Brian, won't be stopping. I think I could have worse habits?
