The girls are wrapping up 1st grade, with one more month of school I can tell they are about "done." It's not quite as fun to study spelling words and mornings are a bear! They are talking about summer plans and top of the list is having a lemonade stand. They bicker about who will pour the lemonade and who will take the money. Silly girls. We had a run in with the flu (Grace and I) and Klaire has an abscessed tooth that got us referred to an Orthodontist for spacing issues. Don't worry Grace got referred to for the extreme UNDERbite she's got going on. Ridiculous. But we'll go. Brian and I had planned on braces x3 but not quite yet for the 2 of them. They are playing Spring soccer and are both doing great at it this time around. Klaire scored her first goal and it was sheer joy. Love those moments. Grace scores in most games and is really getting the hang of the positions!
Henry is almost 18 months old already. He's still just saying a couple words, but effectively communicates with grunts, screams, and lots of gestures. He says ball about 55 times a day, "mama" when he really wants something, and calls the girls "da" for some reason. Other than that we are waiting for the language explosion. Speaking of he's had a couple nasty ear infections right in a row again which is a huge bummer because if there's one more we have to revisit tubes. I hate having him on stronger and stronger antibiotics so at least there's another option.
Brian's work is getting busy as it gets warmer, and golf league started back up again (yay). I got away with some friends to Chicago a couple weekends ago, and I think I'm still recovering:) It was a great time with too much food and drink all around.
So we're gearing up for summer and hoping for some nice weather to plant the garden soon and get those energetic kiddos OUTSIDE!
