nights three and four

The last two nights have been GREAT. A huge sigh of relief!!! We happened to have a huge snow storm which allowed me to be home with them the last couple days which was perfect timing to work on naps and nights! Naps are still pretty tough and not a sure thing anymore, but we're making major progress on the night time routine. I informed Grace that I was not going to sit on her bed, that she was a big girl and I'd tuck her in, which she calls wrap me up, and then she'll go ni-night. She seemed to process this, maybe because I told her this about 5 times throughout the day:) Anyway that night she had no issues, tucked her in (upside-down, but whatever) and she was good to go. Klaire had some problems with the sheets, she gets all annoyed with things if they are not "just right"...I have no idea where she got that trait?? Like I said naps are a bit tougher, probably because they have a playmate in there to egg each other on. I thought about separating them for naps, but I'm not sure how well that'd go over. They fight like cats and dogs, but don't like to be apart either. We'll see. Tuesday Grace fell asleep on the floor near the gate at their door and yesterday Klaire fell asleep on the edge of her bed about to fall off. Silly girls.

So I'm rambling, bottom line: they have slept all night the last two nights in their BIG GIRL BEDS! I'd call Operation Big Girl Beds a SUCCESS!!!!:)Whew!
